ROBERT RICH
Robert's career in analog "glurp" has spawned 20 CDs of his
unique blend of acoustic and electronic elements. His
mastering skills are highly regarded, and his skills as a
synth programmer are remarkable. His new CD, Bestiary,
is a tour-de-force of MOTM timbres, digital post-processing,
and recording technique. He refers to the theme of the pieces
as Alien Zoology, a soundtrack to a never-to-be-made
film about birds and protozoa on a far planet. Highly
recommended! His latest CD is called Outpost, a
collaboration with UK synthesist Ian Boddy.

JOE WALSH
Rock icon Joe Walsh has recently taken delivery of his 28
module system. Most people would not suspect that Joe studied
electronics in college, and his hobby is restoring pre-1960
ham radios. His studio has many vintage synths, including a
Moog 15, MemoryMoog, Juno-106 and the ARP Odyssey that played
the famous sequence on "Life's Been Good To Me So Far". Maybe
a new MOTM riff on the next Eagles CD?

ROGER POWELL
Roger Powell played with Utopia and David Bowie for almost
15 years. After a massive warehouse fire destroyed all his
gear (including his famous RMI KCII Keyboard Computer and
custom Moog 55), he retired to a 'normal' life. After several
visits to our NAMM booth, he was convinced to start building a
new modular. He recently emailed: "I'm really impressed with
the MOTM synthesizer. The module designs are state-of-the-art,
and I'm getting very rich and complex sounds with my growing
system." Thanks, Roger! We're glad you're on the MOTM team and
look forward to a new solo CD.

DAVE FULTON
Portland, Oregon's Dave Fulton and his group DATT
(Dweller At The Threshold) use modulars to create lush "space
music" textures. MOTM, Serge, and other abound on DATT's new
release Ouroborus..
Dave also has the honor to be the first artist to release a
recording using MOTM, his collaboration with Mike Griffin on
The
Most Distant Point Known. Check out these two great
recordings: there are plenty of demos on the respective CD
pages. Love that MOTM-410 sweep on "Circular Logic"!
Be sure to visit Dave's
MOTM page.

CHARLES STELLA
San Francisco based producer Charles Stella has
been an avid MOTM builder/user for over 3 years. His ever
growing MOTM
System has become an integral part of every production.
Recent high points include a Grammy nomination for the
Atlantic Records artist Wax Poetic. Charles'
lastest studio adventures can be heard on 3 upcoming releases
on the Nublu label.
(Temple of Soul Sessions Vol 1 and 2 and Love Trio). 2002 sees
Charles furthering his interest in Electronic Design with the
formation of his new company Stella Custom
Electronics. Check out the demo clip below, and his others
on the Demo page.

TERRY FURBER
Since the late 70's, Terry Furber has played electronic
music with a band known as Orbital Decay. Mixing the styles of
classic "Berlin School" electronic music with the blazing
leads of jazz fusion, Orbital Decay charts unexplored
territory in both mood and in sound. The name Orbital Decay
was chosen as a homage to Skylab's fiery return to earth in
July of '79. The MOTM system is the heart of the driving
sequences that can only be created with an analog modular
synthesizer.
Here are 2 excerpts from a live radio broadcast over WXPN
in August 2001
Additional info/pictures for Orbital Decay can be found here.
