Ambient music pioneer Robert Rich uses the MOTM-730 VC Divider to trigger 4 voices in synchopation, but with non-standard timing. He refers to this as the 'penny in the dryer'
effect.
John Rice shows how the combination of a MOTM-730 and the MOTM-700 Dual 2:1 Switch module can create complicated rhythms by switching in and out
different audio patches all on the 'beat'.
Module Preview: MOTM-520 Cloud Generator and MOTM-521 Cloud Generator Expansion
The MOTM-520 Cloud Generator and optional companion MOTM-521 Expander/Programmer is the first in a series of modules that use our AudioEngine
technology. The AudioEngine uses Xilinx Spartan-3E FPGAs and ARM 32-bit processors (running 40Mhz-100Mhz) to implement parallel audio processing.
The MOTM-520 implements 16 DVCOs (digital VCOs), 48 LFOs, 48 2-pole LP filters and more. The MOTM-521 (optional) provides a user interface to program
and load (via USB) 'patches' into the MOTM-520 and has 2 additional audio outputs. Expected order date is Sept. 2009. Click the tab on the left for more info.
